The Asian Cymbidium belt

Most of the ancestors of today's Cymbidiums originated in the forests of the Himalayan mountains at altitudes of 1,200 to 2,800 meters. From the mountains in India, the Asian Cymbidium belt extends into China, Korea and Japan. This exotic beauty has over 44 different botanical varieties.

The Cymbidium has long, narrow leaves and its long flower branches bear ten to sixteen flowers. The plant has at least one branch, but often more.
